Here’s a short and sweet one for all the photography lovers out there. The guys over at The Classic Camera near The British Museum have got some images from Maybe Ambassador, Alan Schaller‘s recent visit to Morocco on display.
The interior of the store has Schaller’s beautiful black and white images peppered around in between the Fujis, Sonys, Leicas (those Leicas…) and gorgeous (but waaaaay out of my price range) ONA bags.
The oddest thing is, as much as I love Alan’s black and white work, I actually think they’ve displayed his best images from the Morocco trip outside the store. I’m not sure if the courtyard that The Classic Camera is located in is open through the night (and if I had to hazard a guess, I’d say it probably isn’t) but if it is, and if you have no interest in gawking at a shiny new Leica (what’s wrong with you?!) then you can swing by after closing time and have a look at the coloured images… But again, I doubt the courtyard is open.
It’s not the biggest display out there and I wouldn’t recommend travelling all the way up to the area just for his images as you can see them online a lot easier but, if you’re in the area or just love to look a bit of camera porn then it’s definitely worth your time.
