I’ve only just realised how long it’s been since I last did a London on YouTube post (9 months!) so I’ve decided that I’m going to have to these out at least once a month.
Without further ado, here are this months videos from YouTube.
If there’s one thing you takeaway from this post, it’s that Philip Bloom is freakishly talented. His videos are always superbly put together and we’re extremely lucky that he lives in London as it means he’s able to make videos like the one we have embedded above. It’s “just” a video displaying what the iPhone 6s camera is capable of but the shots he pulls off of London’s Richmond are beautiful and if you dig a little deeper into his channel you’ll see some astounding London videos he’s posted (that I will definitely be sharing in later London on YouTube posts)
I’ve always found it bemusing as to why the British media (especially the shitrags like The Sun and Daily Mail) historically loves to rile up public hatred for minorities, which at the moment is obviously the Muslims. Well, if this video by Adam Saleh is to go by, it’s a view not shared by the majority of Londoners. Yes, this could be clever editing and cherry picking but it’s still refreshing to know that the majority of Londoners aren’t Britain First supporting knobheads.
Last and by no means least is quite an interesting video by our fellow London lovers, The Londonist. It’s a short but informative piece on TfL Rail which will eventually morph into Crossrail. Give it a watch and if you have any interest in London’s Underground system then their channel is where to head to.
That’s it for this month’s London on YouTube. If you’ve found any other great London videos on YouTube then be sure to let us know in the comments or on our Twitter.
