Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or have taken a complete vow of silence from all things internet/printed, you’ll know that the heatwave is set to continue for another three weeks – that’s right, highs of up to 28 degrees this weekend.

So with the heatwave in mind, we’ve selected a few things to help you keep cool this weekend.

Okay, so this section is for things to “look” at, but I couldn’t not put this down, right? This weekend Japan is coming to London, or more specifically Earls Court, with the event Hyper Japan. Not only will you be able to feast your eyes on fashion shows, manga drawing workshops, as well as sampling some musical delights, you’ll also be able to get an insight in to some of the culture. Check out the event, here:

Now, most people love to dance the night away with friends and good music, but doing that in a stuffy club in London doesn’t really appeal. But what if you could dance the night away in one of London’s newest additions to the skyline? Of course, if you haven’t guessed already we’re taking about The Shard – this weekend you can warm up your moves for the silent disco that’s taking place at this great venue. Even if you don’t like dancing, it’s always fun to take your headphones off and watch people shuffle around to nothing. Priceless. Starts at 10pm and finishes at 2am, with tickets costing £37.50 (dare we say it, boo! You have to book through Time Out). Check out the event, here:

Legs or sausages?

I’m not sure how familiar you all are with the craze of posting photos of your legs, or frankfurters, in beach landscapes – and playing the guessing game; legs or sausages? Well, the heatwave, and Roundhouse, have brought the craze to London, it’s the return of Camden Beach. Roundhouse have opened their terrace this season; think sand, deck chairs, and beach huts, even an ice cream van! How about we pop our feet up with a 99 complete with a chocolate flake, whilst someone mans the website for us? Well, anyways, expect families during the day and a nice chilled vibe in the evening – expect some leg selfies on your social media feeds. It’s on from the 26th until August 24th, so get involved here:
