Looking forward to the weekend but not made any plans yet We’ve got you covered in this week’s Look, Listen, London.

The world famous London Marathon (now called the Virgin Money London Marathon…) will be jogging through the city this Sunday! We’d advise taking a look at the marathon route below and finding the perfect spot (try to avoid the areas which will more than likely be crammed full of spectators, like Tower Bridge, London Bridge and especially Buckingham Palace) to stand by and cheer on this years runners.

Head on over to the official website to find out all the information you need.

If watching thousands of dehydrated Londoners stomping their way through the city isn’t quite your thing then how about heading down to Cafe 1001 on Brick Lane this Friday for Folkrooma Matata! (A Disney Covers Night)? It promises to be a truly unique experience with covers from a wide range of Disney and Pixar songs performed with a very special folk music twist.

You can grab your tickets and all other information by clicking here.

If neither of them take your fancy (or if you see that as your Friday and Sunday sorted but are now wondering what to do on Saturday) then we’d highly recommend heading down to the British Library this Saturday evening for Late at the Library: World Book Night celebrates Shakespeare. The evening will play host to famous Shakespeare scenes being acted out and music as well as special guest Sir Trevor Macdonald.

The event runs from 7:30pm until 10:30pm. For tickets and more information click here.
