Looking forward to the weekend but not made any plans yet? We’ve got you covered in this week’s Look, Listen, London.

Look

Let’s get the obligatory Star Wars: The Force Awakens opening out of the way. It’s a must watch, even for people who don’t like the original trilogy or prequels (a group that I am a member of), as it’s arguably the world’s biggest film franchise. It doesn’t really matter where you watch it, you just have to before all the spoilers (like Princess Leia and Chewbacca running off and having an affair whilst Luke becomes the fourth member of the Blue Man Group) are out there.

Here’s the booking page from the Lexi where I’ll be watching it.

Listen

If you’re in Peckham this weekend hen you might also be interested in Disco Picnic (you read that right). There’ll be food, music, food, some installations and food. It promises to be an extremely unique time.

For more information check out their Facebook or Twitter accounts.

With Ann Veronica Janssens: yellowbluepink ending on January 3rd, we’d recommend you get down to the Wellcome Collection some time this weekend to catch the magical exhibition before all the holiday madness properly sets in.

You can read our review of the exhibition here and get more information on the free exhibition from the Wellcome Collection here.
